Sorry again for asking such questions..... and am more than grateful for your detailed answers Sis!

1. Who do you think is more powerful ...1. A person with huge wealth( A Millionaire/billionaire) or 2. A person with many TRUE friends! And why?

aur sab se mushkil aapka yeh sawaal, sapno ki duniya mein reh kar jawaab dena ho to a person with true friends magar haqeeqt ki duniya mein paise ke bina to dost bhi nahi bante. baaki cheezon ki toh baat he chod do.hum logon mein ek kahaawat hai ki apna pet bharaa ho to dusre ke ghar bhi paani ka gilaas miltaa hai (arthaat apke paas paisa hai to sab aapke mitra hai, warna kisi 'sachhe mitra' se do baari udhaar maang lo teesri baar woh aapko dekh ke idhar udhar jhaankane lagega.) yeh jeewan ka katu satya hai.

Kehte hai vipatti mein aapka sachaa mitra haath ka dhan hai aur yahi satya hai, aap bohut bimaar hain toh aapko sabse pehle apko doctor aur operation ka kharch uthane ke liye paisa chahiye.ache school mein bachon ka admission karana hai toh paisa chahiye warna aapke bache hi kal apko bolenge, kiya kya hai papa apne humare liye? humaare purane granthon mein bhi iss baat ka zikra hai jahan lakshmi ji(goddess of money) kehti hain ki jis par meri kripa hoti hai uske saare sansaar mein sammaan pata hain aur jiske paas main nahi uss purush mein saare gun hone ke baad bhi tiraskrit hona padta hai.

toh meri nazar mein dono ka mahtava hai daulat kamaana achi baat hai magar daulat ki havas se badi koi bimari nahi aur in dono mein antar insaan ko khud he teh karna hota hai. aisi unchaaiyon ka kya fayda jahan se apne he naa dikhein.

Very apt answer Sis......

2. Who is a successful parent... one who gave the best education and made sure that their child is well set up for life ( like got a well paying job etc) but didn't care much that their child lacks manners/sanskaar and ethically deficient OR a parent that could only provide their child with average education but made sure their child is a much better human being??

Here, I wud like to understand what do you mean by 'average education' kyunki main ek modest family se taaluk rakhti hun jahan 12th ke baad ki education ke liye maine padaai ke saath saath part time jobs ki hai taaki main apni padaayi ke expense mein apne pita ki help kar sakun aur iss liye jaanti hun ki har maa baap apne bachon ko apni shakti anusaar best education dete hain. jo unke bas mein hota hai wo woh sab karte hain. Magar yahi baat sanskaaron ke liye nahi kahi jaa sakti kyunki aksar maa baap iss taraf sochte he nahi unke liye manners ka arth hai english bolne wala bachaa, yeh humare liye sharm ki baat hai ki kuch log angrezi sanskruti ke itne ghulaam ho chuke hain ki unka bacha angrezi mein gaali bhi de to woh khush hokar logo ko bataate hain ' see how well he speaks english'

Unhe jeena seekhana, khush rehna sikhana, halaat se ladna seekhana, ache sanskaar dena yeh har mata pita ka parm dharm hai kyunki yeh woh shastra hai jo tah umra apke bachon ke kaam aate hain. aur iske pehle khud un par amal karna hoga. aur jo mata-pita yeh kar paate hain wahi safal hain.

I am sorry Sis, I did not mean average in any denigrate manner... I here I meant not sending their kids to elite schools/ colleges or overseas elite universities etc.. I too am from a modest family Sis and consider myslef an average/middle class Indian. And you have given us a very appropriate answer Sis!

4. What do -- "you" think... the reason behind the police arriving the last in the Hindi movie??

I think that's because indian cinema has to glorify the heroes.

I think me and Anu bhaee got the answer we were looking for...... but till now I thought the understood answer was that the policeman might reply... I don't get paid enough to come early

5. When it comes to treatment of women in Our country do you think are we any worse than other countries? Why?

As far as Indian laws for crime against women goes we are the worst country. 'Yatra naryastu pujyante, tatra devta ramante"( God stays where we worship women) ki baatein karne wale humare desh mein roz kitni hi auratein Domestic violence, dowry, female feticide, molestation aur eve teasing jaise kaiin sharmanaak apraadhon ki vedna se guzarti hain aur humme se koi kuch nahi karta this is shamful. Saaf si baat hai ki jab tak aurat apni izzat nahi karegi koi iskey liye kuch nahi karega.

Ajeeb baat hai na itni baatein karne waali main, jab apni beti ko neeche khelne ya friend ke ghar ya school bhi bhejti hu toh mujhe chain nahi aata jab tak woh ghar na aa jaaye.

By the way, a few years ago I was studying the law of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I considered myself lucky that I was born in India because literally that is one country that consider women nothing more than a commodity.( kabhi waqt mile toh google par search kariyega.

Sis, a very insightful answer indeed... then it raises another question... what is more important for a nation... treatment of women especially provision of a secure environment or their liberty...the answers you and Anu jee have provided... we as a society will have to look very deeper into .....

Some time ago we did have a discussion at SDC here re the similar topic....
