Hum Bewafa thay lekin wafa kisse maangte,

khud hi to ki thi humne apne Rab se bagawat,
phir hum jo dua mangte to kisse maangte,

jo thay dhadkan dil ke wo bhi dushman-e-jaan thay,
is dil ki dua mangte to kisse maangte,

mehboob jo tha wo bhi to naraz tha humse,
koi shokh ada mangte to kisse maangte,

jo waqt guzar jaaye to wapas nahi aata,
