Within its borders
In its vast plains
On high mountains and stretched coastlines
In numerous villages and cities
People of different races and religions
Coexist together, cheerfully!


Salute to the millions strong
Brave young men and women in armed forces
Protecting the borders night and day
Securing us every moment
So we live peacefully inside
Words are not enough to thank them
Salute to them again!


Salute to the billions men and women
Young and old alike
Those financially well-off
And those in the process
Well educated and still learning
Teachers and artists
Farmers and industrial workers
Everyone adding
To the growth
Of a sound economy and culture
Salute to them all!


Democracy is our pride!
Though some of the leaders
Are less than perfect,
Democracy gives opportunity to everyone
To become better than yesterday!
Salute to the world’s largest democracy!


May my country always remain an example
For the world to follow!

The hope for the world!
May my country flourish forever!
