Voh mera Qatl kar ke chain se jee rahe hain,
Pyar ke amrit ke badle zehar hum pee rahe hain.

log kahte hain Wakt bhar deta hai har zakhm,
phir kyun hum apne zakhmon ko see rahen hain.

Wakt ne aaj humko aisa mara hai ek tamacha,
Hoth hain sile hue per lahu ke ghunt pee rahe hain.

Khatm ho gayee hai ab aur jeene ki tamanna,
Jab tak saans chal rahi hai bewajah jee rahe hain.

Ghum hai itna per numaish karti nahi ankhen,
Per ander hi ander hum apne ashq pee rahe hain
