Ab tum sunaa rahey ho, to, gaauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Maanaa, ki, main raqeeb naheen hun, habeeb huun;
Gar tum nahin bulaaougey, aauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Tumko kiyaa hai yaad azal sey, au' shab-o-roz;
Ab hashra muntazir hai: bhulaauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Tum ney kahaa thaa, 'Sharbat-e-kousar pilaaungaa!'
Fir, sharbat-e-aatish mein nahaauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Peeney key liye pyaar hai, aankhon kaa nashah hai:
Ab maykadey jaaungaa, to, jaauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Maalum hai, nahin kheyl kaatnaa shab-e-firaaq;
Pahunchoongaa sarey shaam, sataauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Yuun to gul-e-gulbun ko suhaatey hain khaar bhi;
Hanstey gulaab ko main rulaauungaa bhalaa kyon?

Maykash huun, 'abd', meyree zindagee hai maykadaa;
Saaqee ho tumhin, doosaraa laauungaa bhalaa kyon?

aaj bohat dino ke baad aap ki kahii huiii Ghazal paDhne ka mauqa milaa.. bohat khuub Ghazal hai... daad haazir hai......

Bundeli saahab, maazrat chahunga jo aapki is ghazal pe deree se nazar gayee... lekin jab ise padha to ek ek lafz dil tak utartaa chalaa gaya, jis tareeqe se intezaar, shiqvaa aur sawaalon ki bayaani hui hai wo beshaq qaabile-tareef hain.... ehsaason ki kya baat karoon yoon laga ke mere hi dil se nikle hoN... superbb... likhte rahiyegaa.
