no the island is only 32km in circumference. 40 to 45 mins on the national speed limit of 55km/hour round the island trip ho jata hai. buses aur taxis bhi zyada nahi hai. people own motor bikes and cars. tourists prefer cycling

No ...if it had a railway system I would have applied for international transfer from india.

1. What do you think/feel is the most appropriate age for a kid to begin school. The reason I am asking is ..for a long time I have shaken my head in dismay at people admitting their kids into school at 2.5 years or sometimes at 26 months.... I personally believe its too young. Since you are a teacher, and now a mum, will be interesting to know your answer and the reasons for it.


2. What do you think of people who look down on others be it in pride of their own achievements or because of their so called social status like cast/ethnicity/race etc.

In my life I have come across, broadly speaking, two types of people, one type is people who actually listen to elders/more experienced person's advice and act on it and the other type who just ignore (i.e. they like to learn the hard way(the word like there is misnomer)). What do you think we should do i.e. give people advice or let people learn the hard way(sometimes with great pains))?

4. Is ridiculing or stereotyping of a group justifiable in the name of free speech or just for the sake of laughter/comedy?

5. Do you believe in global warming/climate change? or is it just that the Earth is going through it long term cycles of weather?

i don't support sending children to school so early. everything has its own time to happen. why should we deprive kids from the activities (important for development) they are supposed to do at that age and send them to school with the burden of learning ang achieving? we all must have started school at the right age then why we sending our kids so early to school? i think just because some parents wana get rid of their kids for at least some hours they send them to school.

2. What do you think of people who look down on others be it in pride of their own achievements or because of their so called social status like cast/ethnicity/race etc.

i think such people need help! they are mentally challenged maybe and have superiority complex. i read somewhere...'no matter how big your house is, how recent your car is, how huge your bank balance is, our grave is still going to be the same size. stay humble!'

i think advice should only be given when its appreciated. otherwise we are wasting our time. people will do whatever they wana do anyway.

'the bravest thing anyone can do in this modern society of judgment and stereotypes is to simply be themselves.' hope this answers your question.

well whatever the earth is going through right now, be it global warming of long term climatic changes, it has adverse effects on us.

I personally dont believe in sending kids to school so early ..we all went to school when we were around 4.5 to 5+ years so why should our kids go to school so early depriving them of their wonderful growing and playful years with the stress of modern day learning.

No I wouldnt agree to that its evolution with time I guess...but sometimes I do feel poetry now a days is mostly for wooing rather than issue or message based.



2. What role do you think poetry plays in the preservation/conservation of a language? especially now a days people are more inclined to speak just a few international languages?

It does a great work in conservation of a language for instance ghalib wrote mostly in persian/ urdu ....those who are eager to read him learn or translate his written language thereby spreading or preserving it.



3.Do you think urdu shayaree has any future beyond a few more ..at most, decades?

It definitely has a future beyond a few decades coz it is being preserved and served by great poets like you ahmad sahab ( honestly).

Every modernisation has its good and bad aspects ....yes I would wish such a life.

It depends entirely on the situation...we compliment each other in such events like situations relating to finance,health of kid,research fields she is very emotional and some other situations I am emotional .Basically we know who is stronger in which situation and we comfort each other likewise.



2) What is your idea of a romantic date?



I believe love at first sight is possible but its always good to have a second look.My idea of a date is KISS -KEEP IT SHORT AND SIMPLE...



3) Three worst qualities of your spouse?


Infact there are no worst qualities in her but sometimes she is moody ,stubborn and short tempered .....



4) Mention your height & weight


My height is 180cms i.e. 6 feet and I am heavy enough to lift her.....

pagalpan chahiyen to write your emotions in impressive expressions mostly those who use their life experiences as inspiration to write

poetry is what has made me to learn hindi and urdu as you can see i struggle in both languages. i would say poetry plays an important role to preserve a language.

of course in future it might be used for daily interactions who knows...but yeah everything comes back as new fashion

yes i would like to go back to those days and live a green life

we should let them make their own choices. nothing is permanent in life even careers can be changed if one doesnt work out well. gone are those days when we used to think 'that's it one career for life long!' i would rather have my son take ownership of his own actions than to blame us for his failures. of course guidence is a different story but i will never impose

Mujhe nahi pata tha jo snore nahi karte hain unke baare main haan zabardasti likha jata hai ....aur meri naak bajti hai kyuki usme sur hai sab itne lucky nahi hote ....
