toote dil ke kuch, armaan hi samjha hota
zinda na sahi mujhe, bejaan hi samjha hota

gawara nahi tujhe, tu kahelaye mera humsafar
pyar na sahi mujh par, ehsaan hi samjha hota

ajnabee hi sahi hum, ab teri nazron mein
ik nazar to dekhte mujhe, anjaan hi samjha hota

bebasi ki aag mein, yu sulaghte nahi hum
rakh kar jaate mujhe, shamshaan hi samjha hota

taqleef hoti hai mujhe bhi, dil rota hai mera
pari na sahi mujhe, insaan hi samjha hota
