My Shattered Dream

That beautiful day, when the day was at it's best,
I was lying near the lake and my thoughts were at rest.
The aroma of blossoming flora, worked like a magic,
The plopping of small stones, sounded like a music.
The humming of beautiful birds, amused my ears,
And Happiness rolled down my eyes in the form of tears.
In the midst of these,when I took a snooze,
Deep in my mind, my thoughts began to ooze.
As SHE knocked my heart, my thoughts got rambled,
And she entered in me, I found myself tangled.
Her lustrous eyes, That can frenzy a many,
Her flawless smile, that can excite a many.
Her tender hands, blooming like a rose,
Her gentle touch, making me to rouse.
Though my hands began to quiver, I took them to her face,
And was about to take it in palms,felt it was God'sgrace.
And suddenly the sky thundered, I woke up with a scream,
I was lying near the lake, found shattered my dream.
I stood up and walket to my home, with a heart filled with pain,
Trying to build that scene, though in vain.
From that day till today, I go to the lake everyday,
I lie on it's bed and close my eyes,
Imagining her beauty and her lustrous eyes.
But she never knocked my heart, nor she entered in me,
I found her nowhere, nor she entered in my dream
And again blew a thunderous storm, but that was not in the clear
sky,
but it was in my heart, that blew me too high.
Any U may say, why so fuss, though it was a dream,
But to me my dear friend,
It is more beautiful than the truth, that's my shattered dream.
That's my shattered dream .......

well....undoubtedly its a good poem but i think u failed to present all the feelings in ur mind when u were writing down the words...one thing i wud like to say that somewhere in between the lines u used the word which are not suiitabel n that too just for the mere sake of rhyming to sound it more poetic....never change ur feelings for words n rhymes...got it???
