ab hawaa hai n aab-o-daanaa hai
bas chaman meiN ik aashiyaanaa hai

(aab-o-daanaa = water and food)


keh rahee hai sabaa bhi ab ke baras
fasl-e-gul ka naheeN thikaanaa hai

(fasl-e-gul = spring season)


saath khushiyoN ka chand-rozaa hai
gham se rishhtaa barhaa puraanaa hai

(chand-rozaa = temporary)


kuchh to rehmat bhi ho chalee dushwaar
kuchh jafaaoN ka ye zamaanaa hai

(rehmat = mercy, jafaa = opression)


jee to kartaa hai is ko maan leiN sach
ye jo teraa meraa fasaanaa hai


laa-makaaN hum haiN dukh naheeN is ka
dil teraa soonaa aastaanaa hai

(laa-makaaN = homeless, aastaanaa = abode)


mehv-e-deed-e-khiraam meiN n ye hosh
ke ye aanaa teraa ke jaanaa hai

(mehv-e-deed-e-khiraam = immersed in watching the graceful walk)


mat rihaa kar aseer zulf-e-daraaz
zabt kitnaa ab aazmaanaa hai

(aseer =one who is imprisoned, zulf-e-daraaz = long hair, zabt = control)


keemtee shai chhupaa ke rakhte haiN
teree nekee teraa khazaanaa hai

(shai = thing)


jo n toofaaN meiN bhi bujhee thi lau
ashq-o-aah se use bachaanaa hai

(lau = flame)


raaz-e-dil kab ayaaN kiyaa “zarraa”
ye sukhan-goyee bas bahaanaa hai

(ayaaN = evident, sukhan-goyee = poetry telling)

Waaahhhhhh Zarraa bhai..... qayaamatangez ghazal kahi hai apne is baar bhii
waahhh subhaan allaah..... Matla se maqtaa tak lutf andoz... ek kaamyaab ghazal ke liye dheron mubaarakkbaad..... likhte rahen, aate rahen...
