An Island Of Feelings

once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived,
Joy, Sadness, Knowledge, Love and all the others.

one day it was announced to all the feelings that the island...
was going to sink to the bottom of the sea,
so all the feelings prepared their boats to leave except for love...

love stayed behind because she wanted to preserve the island paradise until
until the last possible moment.

when the island was almost totally under,
love decided it was time to leave...

just then richness was passing by in a grand boat and love asked:
"richness, can i come with u on your boat?:
richness said: "i'm sorry but there's too much gold and silver on the boat,
there's just no room for u anywhere"..

then love decided to ask vanity,
love cried out and said: "vanity, help me please???",

next, love saw sadness passing by, love said:
"sadness, please let me go with u",
sadness replied: "love, i'm sorry, i just wanna be alone right now",

then love saw joy and cried out "joy, please take me with you"
but joy was too happy to hear love calling him.

love began to cry, then she heard a voice say:
"come, love, i will take you with me",
when she looked up, it was an elder.

love felt so blessed and happy that she forgot to ask the elder's name,
when she arrived on land the elder went on his way,
love the realised how much he owed the elder.

love then found knowledge and asked:
"who was that elder that helped me?",
"it was time" knowledge answered,
"but why did time help me when no one else would?" asked love,

knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, he answered,
"because only time is capable of understanding.....
JUST HOW GREAT LOVE IS".
