bikhra pada yahaN wahaN tootaa hua sa maiN

tasveer aisi chhod kar aayaa huN uske pas
aatee huee udaasi aur jaataa hua sa maiN

kya chand se hi aayega mere liye koe
kab tak rahuN khudaa bata tanhaa hua sa maiN

rone lagi kuch aise jyuN darya mai ho ufaan
chup chaap dekhta raha sahra hua sa maiN

kab ja ke aayaaga mujhe aaeenaa dekhna
khud ko laguN kabhi kabhi dekha huaa sa main

usne kaha tumhari to dunia hi aur hai
dair-o-haram se aa gaya bhataka hua sa maiN

in waaijoN ki baat mai ab aanaa hi nahiN
luN maikdae ki raah ye kahta hua sa maIN

har ek lafz sidhe dil pe asar karta hu, lajawaab

dhero daad kabool farmaye

Zid uski mera wazood hi mita dene ki,
aur aarzoo meri sirf usko paa lene ki.
