Teri saNso me saaz baNaa rehNa chahta huN...

Patt'jhad me girte uN sukhe patt'oN ki kasam,
Tera dost tera humraaz baNaa rehNa chahta huN...

ZamaNe ki is chaka chauNdh-o-shor-o-gul* me,
Teri gumNaam awaaz baaNa rehNa chahta huN...

Mat tut tu mat sata khudko aye mere TAUSIF,
MaiN tere dil ki awaz baNaa rehNa chahta huN...

Ek taraf DuNiya hai aur ek taraf meri manzil,
Main ALLAH ka mohtaaj baaNa rehNa chahta huN...

SamandaroN mieN muaafiq havaa chalaata hai...
Jahaaz khud nahiiN chalte Khudaa chalaataa ha...
