Aj phir pyaar bhari nazar ka ishaara kiya kisine
Dabakar hont chupke se muskra diya kisine

Meri arzuen to kitne sookhe raaston se guzri hain
Yun laga khiza ke mausam mein pani barsa diya kisine

Samjha thha main baithha hun ek badi mehfil mein
Bhari anjum mein tanhai se tarruf kara diya kisine

Mehkashi phir na karunga ye kasam khai thhi
Jaam khaali dekh phir paimana bhar diya kisine

Meri ankhon mein to thhehra hua salaab sa thha
Inmein ummidon ka toofan sa uthha diya kisine

Sonya ji,

aapke ehsaas kaabil-e-tareef hai, aapse guzaarish karunga ki aap agar halka sa shayri ki technicalities par dhayaan de to aapki nazm/ghazalon aur asardaar honge

Good to know that you wanted to clear your doubt ... Qaasid means in simple language a Messenger. One who visited the place of beloved of a shayar with his letter and comes back with her answer..... hope this will clear the meaning now...
