guzar gaiee Thi ghaTa chhoR sahraa payaasa
yeh barasta hua baadal bulaaya kisne

rakhae rahtaa Thaa mera gul seene se lagaa
aaj khiRki se use giraaya kisne

shammaaN se kahne lagaa jaltaa hua parvaana
is treha karna jafaa sikhaaya kisne

taRap uThi shammaN ai duniya walo suno
khud jalaa parvaana mujhe jalaaya kisne

Thaa jiska tasavvar kabse begaana hua
dil ke pannoN pe voh chehra banaaya kisne

hai mohabbat rab ki barkat nayaab
fir yeh Taj Mahl daam lagaaya kisne

poochhe rahta hai dil se zahan aksar
banaaya jisne hameiN use banaaya kisne
