ghurbat ne toD daaley hain rishtoN ke sab hesaar
ahbaab bhi raqeeb ke saaNchey me Dhal gaye

main ki anaa ko toD ke lo tum se aa milaa
lekin tumhaare maathe ke ab tak na bal gaye

maaN ki doaa ne phir mujhe mahfooz kar diyaa
toofaan jo bhi aaye the woh sar se tal gaye

sooraj ne jab neqaab ko rukh se ulaT diyaa
jitney the jism barf ke yaksar pghal gaye

daryaay e be mahaar me ghootah zani to ki
kuchh to saNbhal na paye magar kuchh saNbhal gaye

purkhoN ki har bahas me thi tahzeeb jalwah gar
lekin hamaarey daor ke maozoo badal gaye

hassaas meri daastaaN thi aisi dil kharaash
patthar ki moorti ke bhi aaNsoo nikal gaye
